A house for playing. The library has an important role in @johanna_gullichsen_official’s – textile designer and granddaughter to Maire – childhood memories at Villa Mairea. As she recalls, the children would spy on what was happening in the living room by climbing up a ladder attached to the bookshelf in the downstairs library. One of the chess pieces on the library chessboard still shows Johanna’s tooth marks from childhood games. #ahousefor
