One of our favourite mammals celebrates #InternationalOrangutanDay today. These extraordinary friends of ours have become critically endangered due to habitat loss through deforestation and farming. So much so in fact, their numbers have halved in the last 60 years according to @WWF_UK.
Ever popular amongst our community, the Orangutan has served as a RÆBURN icon for quite some time. You may have seen them feature as a Space Monkey for our last collection, as well as in our most recent ARTEFACT project.
Together with our cohort of #OffCutAnimals, the Orangutan importantly stands as a symbol for our Off-Cut Animal Workshops; a series of events where all your proceeds are donated to @WWF_UK; the world’s leading independent conservation organisation.
