"I was actually trying to paddle to go left on that wave, and looked last second at the right," Pete Mendia said of this perfectly executed shack yesterday. "And then I thought I was going to go down on the drop -- which actually made the wave more fun. That day was super glassy with a ton of waves coming through -- everybody in the water was getting their share of good ones. And every once in a while, a great wave would come through. It was an incredible session that lasted almost all day."⁣
