Since then, he’s returned to the sport as both an athlete and a mentor with Adaptive Adventures — a Colorado-based non-profit that introduces adaptive athletes nationwide to outdoor sports. Their goal is to provide individuals with the opportunity to experience adventures, regain independence, and socialize with others with similar life experiences.
