Alright alright so where is this coming from? . Recently I posted highlights from the DNC along with my commentary. I got several responses like -- "Love your page but can you not mix politics with travel?". . My answer: Absolutely not. Bc politics directly affects the future of the planet, people, and travel. With a leader that doesn't believe in global warming, we are just one step closer to never being able to see destinations with melting polar ice caps or shallow islands. With political tensions, we are not allowed to go to certain countries. Without more paid vacation time, most people will only get to go somewhere once a year. And don't even get me started on health care and taxes. . I'm not just here to "sit still and look pretty" and my morals expand much wider than simply entertaining. I'm actually smart (hello B.S. in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology), and more importantly bold, so while most public people choose to stay silent about things like politics (no shade), I choose not to, because I want to do what little I can to make a better future. .
