It goes without saying that this year’s #NottingHillCarnival will be a little different. For the first time since Claudia Jones began hosting Claudia’s Caribbean Carnival in 1959, there will be no street party – with the festivities taking place virtually instead. Fortunately, the line-up is still brilliant and will include everything from steel band performances recorded live at the #RoyalAlbertHall to virtual parades and Caribbean cook-a-longs.
