Another #goth portrait of my sister, Lucy from my #uni days in #Bristol during the early 90s. This features one of my very first #millinerymarvels! I lit and took the photos, developed the #mediumformat negatives and exposed and developed the photographs. Here I half exposed the image, added an acetate overlay with dip pen calligraphy, and then exposed the second half, leaving pale areas of writing in the print. 📸 this portrait was all inspired by my #icons @ヴィヴィアンウエストウッド @ニック・ナイト @shakespearssisterofficial #duanemichaels @amandaharlech @jpgaultierofficial #sophiemuller and #johnsingersargent - in fact, wonderfully, it was #nickknight who taught me how to edit photos on Instagram while @showstudio filmed a couple of days of hat making a decade or two later!! #✨
