#SheSePuede! A New destination for mujeres poderosas. My family did not have a car until I was in high school. And I didn’t learn to drive as a teen when most kids do. Later, as a young adult I was not in a position to buy a car so I figured lessons were a waste of money! I put off learning for so long that I fabricated the narrative that I’d never be able to do it (my mother doesn’t drive) and truthfully, I developed a fear of it. Last year I made a deal with myself to push past the fear and commit to take as many lessons as it took until I passed. At 35, with help from my encouraging and patient instructor Carlos, I passed my test and got my first car! Proud to be part of @she_sepuede .
