@Polo Ralph Lauren is proud to be the Official Outfitter of the @USOpen, designing the official uniforms for all on-court tournament staff since 2005.
This year, as an alternative to our signature uniforms, we will feature the names of 150 frontline workers on the backs of the ballperson uniforms as a tribute to their heroic efforts in the fight against COVID-19.
“It didn’t feel like it was the right move or the right spirit, so we decided to hold those until next year,” @DavidLauren, the son of designer Ralph Lauren and the company’s Chief Innovation Officer, told The New York Post. “This isn’t a fun fashion moment,” said Lauren. “It’s about a story.”
