I told you that I’d tell the story of Chiquitin on this post, so here you have it: When I rescued Cielo, I had the idea of getting a Dog to keep Cielo company and mellow her a tiny bit, so I took Rachelita to the pet store (Yes, Chiquitin was bought and not adopted, sue me. I’ve rescued at least 100 Dogs from the street so shush) and my intention was to get a German Shepherd from a Breeder but I saw one at the store days earlier when I was walking through the mall, so I took Rachelita there and I asked them to bring the GS to our cubicle, they brought him and we played a little bit with him, but Rachel fell in Love two days before with a mischievous “Rat-Dog”, white, brown and fluffy. So I asked them to bring that RatDog, but they had him in the cubicle next to us, but right under the cubicle, there were around 3 or 4 inches of space between the floor and the cubicle, and that little RatDog entered our area by squeezing himself between that space, he came to my feet and peed right by me, so I considered it an Omen and we went for the RatDog, Rachel couldn’t be happier. We arrived home and nervously introduced him to The Empress and he started attacking her playfully, so the only thing that came to me was “Mira a ese Chiquitin tan loco” “Look at that crazy Tiny One”, Chiquitin means Tiny One in Spanish so the name stuck and the legend of #TheMightyChiquitin was born.
