Tucked between neighboring volcanoes, Pacha’s birthplace of Cotacachi is undeniably joyful. Nearby is the impressive Lake Cuicocha, whose waters Pacha has known since birth. Here, Pacha taught us about the indigenous Quechua concept of “Pachamama”— Mother Earth, as a sacred being to respect. This is where Pacha got her name from, and it’s clear that her connection to Cotacachi and Cuicocha have played a big part in her journey of giving back to the planet.
