I pay meticulous attention to reading the labels 😆 and that’s the reason why no one in my family likes to go shopping with me. My closest professional art supply store is located gazillion miles away and I usually go there only when I’m running out of good paper. But every time I go for paper, I end up buying some art supplies that were not on my list and new to me. On my recent trip I grabbed one of those pan pastels, I’ve seen people using them here on Instagram and I always wanted to try it. I got just one color for now, because I wasn’t sure if I’d like it that much. But I loved it - it feels so soft and creamy, and not like your typical pastels! And I find it amazing for adding textures to work. If you’re familiar with pan pastels - please leave your tips here, I’m sure there are other artists like me who would want to master this technique.
