In 1933, the same year that Tove Jansson began her studies at Ateneum, the Finnish furniture master Yrjö Kukkapuro was born. Now, 87 years later, he launches the furniture series Moomin Furniture, where his classic, ergonomic furniture is decorated with Jansson’s beautiful illustrations. According to Kukkapuro, the fact that their creations meet is a great honor.
