Due to some chronic elbow tendinitis, I haven’t been climbing much these days and have put all my free time into pedaling. This was the perfect opportunity to utilize new strengths I’ve been gaining while still allowing my climbing muscles to recover. To beat the heat, we started before the sun came up, riding from my house in Salt Lake up to an excellent, moderate 4-pitch climb in Big Cottonwood. We ended up riding 32 miles and 2250’ of elevation for an excellent day of climbing with our gear on our backs. I even made it back by noon for a phone meeting!
