This is a very special post of a piece of history which was recently rediscovered. Before I begin, two things I must apologize for.

1) I found the video footage of the actual performance after I filmed the description video and I was way off on my memory of how the illusion played out.

2) More importantly... a big public apology to @john_gaughan_magic for keeping this precious magic artifact and collection for nearly 2 decades.

What you are looking at is the actual model that John Gaughan created and presented to Doug Henning back in the 1970s for his television specials as an appearance illusion. (Please see the videos). At the time, John was very kind to let me borrow this to see if I can make a similar appearance for my own television special. Unfortunately I never got around to feature this unique illusion and this borrowed model was lost in the abyss of storage boxes unreturned.

TWO DECADES LATER...Miraculously I was going through some of my old stuff and found it again... I’m so sorry again John… It has been expressed back to you in LA to return to your collection.

And thank you John for allowing me to share this with everyone.
