I've spent so long trying to control certain aspects of my life to avoid disappointment, hurt or failure. And I think, as humans, we're hard-wired to want certainty and to have that safety net.

But I am slowly realising that nothing in life is certain. The only constant thing in life is yourself, your actions and the way you show up.
