Hawke shares that the album began as poems, which she has been writing most of her life “as a private form of expression and personal therapy.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “My holiest moment is definitely on the first song of the album, ‘Generous Heart’," she tells writer @JD_Luddite, “It was one of the last songs we recorded, and it took me the whole album of recording to figure out how to have confidence in the studio.
