In the book, @creativesoulphoto highlights a wide variety of kids across the African diaspora. @amoy.antunet is a 9-year-old neuroscientist from Atlanta, Georgia. Her love for science began at the age of three, when she became fascinated with a microscope belonging to her father. She has been featured in several media outlets around the world and is currently the youngest person ever to present at a neural convention. For our shoot with Amoy, we decided to incorporate our love of sci-fi for this shot to create an Afrofuturism look. Her futuristic arm piece was created from toys spray painted to match the scene. For her robotic neck, we took a photo of a toy robot in the same lighting and merged it with her photo in Photoshop."
