So, let’s talk about nicotine. Nope, not smoking it.
Instead, using nicotine as a way to benefit your brain.
Mitochondrial autophagy, called mitophagy, keeps your cells healthy.
PGC-1a is a regulator of mitochondrial biogenesis; during mitochondrial biogenesis, your mitochondria grow in number and size. That’s a good thing.
Nicotine has been shown to increase levels of PGC-1a. That’s another good thing. It means you’ll grow more mitochondria from taking low-dose nicotine. Like only a couple of milligrams a day.
A spray, patch, or gum are good ways to take nicotine that aren’t smoking. (I’m going to keep emphasizing the NOT smoking part every time I mention nicotine.)
I’m a fan of @lucynicotine because it’s controlled release, and there are no artificial sweeteners in it.
I’m a fan of nicotine’s brain benefits and the bonus nootropic effect, too.
Would you try it?
