All women — and men, who were often her chosen plaintiffs in strategic cases — have much to thank Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg for. She died on September 18 at 87, just as Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year, was starting, and leaves behind an indelible and undoubtedly liberal mark in American law.
