With this 2 step cleansing method, I first use an oil based cleanser, the DHC cleansing oil & then afterwards I follow up with my Boscia Clear Complexion Cleanser. I only started double cleansing for about a month (don’t kill me skincare community😂) but I can really see a difference in my skin. I get fewer breakouts & have less texture & overall my skin feels so clean & healthy after using this method. — An oil-based cleanser is used to remove oil-based impurities such as sunscreen, makeup, & sebum. All while removing these impurities, the oil cleanser also nourishes the skin & doesn’t strip it of its natural oils. The DHC deep cleansing oil melts away my makeup effectively & I don’t have to rub it harshly into my skin either. It removes all my eye makeup too, but also I don’t use any waterproof mascara or eyeliner either. Olive oil is also on the ingredient list, which has great antioxidant properties to protect the skin from free radicals & also has great moisturizing properties. The only negative thing about the product for me is that it really does smell like olive oil, but it doesn’t bother me that much that it would make me stop using this. Too many good things with this product! — I put 1-2 pumps onto my hands & massage onto dry skin for 30 seconds. Then, I add a little bit of water & continue massaging so the oil emulsified and starts to turn into a white milky-like texture. Rinse with water. Then use a water-based cleanser after to remove all the impurities (bacteria, sweat, dead skin cells.) — Also, My boyfriend got me into eating olives like a snack. Do you guys like olives too?
