I never “failed” fostering. I’ve fostered so many Border Collies, Aussies, and mixes but I never had the urge to keep them because I had Jazzy and Coopie and they were all I needed. Then I met my husband and his human kids. The first time I fostered a pup with my new family, it was BB. I wasn’t ready to adopt a pup then, but I was persuaded by my family. The “if anyone can help BB, it’s you.” comment from my husband did it for me. (He knows how to push the right button sometimes) The second time we fostered as a family, it was Phoebe. Everyone fell in love with her right away and asked if we could keep her. But I made the decision to keep her mostly based on the positive changes I saw in BB. Phoebe made BB happy. She brought out the fun and silly side of BB I never saw before. Even though we didn’t adopt the Bees for me at first, I know I made the right decision each time.
