アリシア・ウィットさんのインスタグラム写真 - (アリシア・ウィットInstagram)「happy sunday, dear ones. i can’t stop thinking about what a gift it was to play for you yesterday. i’m so grateful. the fear, the lack of freely being close to others, the uncertainty and heaviness around these times - all felt lifted through our connection to one another for that 50 minutes. i’m just grateful to be the musical glue, as it were. and i already can’t wait for next saturday’s show on @stageit. i spoke some yesterday during the show about my fervent wish that we can all be kind to each other during these times - hating hearing of violence, both verbal and physical, happening between individuals who are voting differently. my wish is for us all recognize - somehow - that in our hearts, most of us want the same things. among them, a good life for our loved ones and neighbors; a good economy; and most importantly at this time, some leadership that will help bring an end to this terrifying pandemic that has become so disproportionately widespread here in the US, with all the lives lost and all the lives forever suffering needless side effects from having gotten ill. if we can stop the name calling and demonizing and making ugly, untrue assumptions about an enormous group of humans based on our distaste for the politician they’re voting for - maybe, just maybe, then we can prove the so-called ‘other side(s)’ wrong about what ‘all those people’ who vote for ‘that person’ are like. do you know what i’m trying to say? i long to bring it back to the issues, not about dismissing people as soon as you know who they’re voting for, and please, not yelling at them (or god forbid, hurting them). that is so extremely counter productive. let’s vote, vote like it is the most powerful tool we have, and vote with our morals and our sense, but let’s please please be peaceful about it. #loveanyway - basically. ❤️🇺🇸anyhow - thru the end of today, i’m having a 50% off sale on *everything* at my online store - including Love Anyway shirts. enter code FALLCLEARANCE. i first put these (and the song) out after the 2016 elections, and i’m loving packing up as many as i can this weekend and sending them off into the world. link in my bio. 🙏🏻」9月21日 5時36分
