Balmain’s 1945 Collection— the house’s latest offering— salutes that audacious spirit of the Balmain House’s founder in the post war period.
For this new line, Creative Director @オリヴィエ・ルスタン was inspired by Pierre Balmain’s strongest mid-century designs to create a bold collection of soft-leather and jacquard bags, in a variety of sizes and shapes.
The “PB” initials reference the founder and his house, while the motif reflects Pierre Balmain’s fascination with the labyrinths of France’s most beautiful Renaissance gardens. #BALMAIN1945
