Do you ever turn on a kid’s show or movie and within the first ten minutes a parent or family member dies in a tragic accident? WHO THINKS THIS IS OK?! Sonny loves trains, trucks, cars and things like that that don’t have loved ones immediately placed in potential death scenarios. I can turn it on and not have to watch over his shoulder to make sure this nonsense is going on. Which is a big relief, because that is the entire point of tv. He can watch while I get something done for an hour. All he wants as soon as he wakes up from his nap is Mighty Express. “Please, watch Mighty Express.” I don’t feel guilty about caving to his cuteness and turning it on for him because it is educational and all about teamwork.
