Barry Lyndon is probably a lot of people’s least favorite film of Kubrick, but there is a gentle subtleness to this film. The incredible use of natural light used in this film by cinematographer ‘John Alcott’ astonishes me, watching this film almost bring you into a meditative state.

This is a must watch.
