I came across this quote one day. It said, “Don’t be afraid to start over again. This time, you are not starting from scratch, you are starting from experience.” It was in that moment that I knew. That by giving myself permission to let go, I was in fact granting myself freedom. Too often, we are confined in our own narratives and past pains. Unable to see the possibilities that lie beyond us. However, if we choose to lead with open hearts and a presence in the present, then we can take the lessons learned to build new beginnings.

I believe there is a yin and yang to all that occurs in our lives. When one door closes, another one is to open. I have also come to learn that the exact opposite of love is fear. And the more I leaned into love, the less fearful I became. I often remind myself that what is meant to be will truly be. There cannot be force or resistance.
