Over the next 6 weeks the scaffolding hiding the top of the #ElizabethTower which houses Big Ben 🔔 will gradually be taken down! 😱 Once revealed you’ll be able to see the famous tower in its brand new condition of restoration complete with 3,433 cast iron roof tiles which were removed and repaired in a specialist workshop. 👌🏼 Crumbling stone work and leaks were also fixed as part of the conservation work which has kept us all waiting for several years! 😭 But finally, some good news and we’ll be so glad to lay our eyes on the tower once more! 🤩 Work will continue lower down on the tower so it’s a semi-reveal. But it’s a great start! Enjoy!
