A gorgeous vintage faded gold tape (from the 20’s I think) that I had previously found at a flea market was the perfect pairing… then layering it on top of a wide cocoa grosgrain created a new sporty ribbon which was completely transformative. The epaulettes were removed (who needs rank anyway?) and replaced with a luxey overarm stripe….
