She is trascendental to me for several reasons that I’ll explain here: First, she was named after my Hero Quino’s Mafalda because she was super tiny. But most importantly, she was the first one of my kids to leave me since I couldn’t save her and she was the first real Death that I experienced in the 28 years prior to her departure. Up until Mafaldita and Guille left their bodies, I had not experienced a significative Death and God was it a Renaissance for me.
