Their #togetherband lives on my favourite tour guitar - on last years tour alone we saved over 10,000 plastic bottles A MONTH by simply filling our own @dopper_official water bottles and re-using 14 glass bottles we bought in Ikea and a couple of stolen milk crates. We don’t believe in preaching about it - we believe in doing it , and most of the venues loved the idea of plastic free touring and helped us to be completely plastic free from the rider to the stage to the bus.... Trying to find your own solutions also goes for your products too - the shrink-wrap on our vinyl and cd’s is made of compostable bamboo starch and every record comes with a download card you can plant, and as it degrades it grows wild flowers to contribute to offsetting the carbon from the vinyl manufacture ... These are all steps absolutely every band in the world can take - but they cost money, real money - your bottom line WILL be effected... but no planet , no bottom line , for anyone... Small steps - but if we all make them together they end up being giant leaps ...
