I was going through the motion of getting the clothes ready and thinking about how I want these photos taken. It wasn’t until I was editing these pictures when I’m reminded that this will be the last time I’m shooting a @shopwomn release. About one year ago, womn. was born and none of us knew what to expect. But a few things we did know- we wanted to build a community around slow sustainable fashion & to use our platform to empower each other. While it’s heartbreaking to close down the business, we’re all so grateful for what this year has brought us. It was surreal to see you all tag us in our clothes and have open discussions about what sustainability means to you. We had our ups and downs and we know we weren’t perfect. We had lots of hopes & ideas for the company that we’re so sad will not come to life. But we all know it doesn’t just end here. We have gained and learned so many lessons that we will continue to carry moving forward. I believe the most valuable thing we gained was our community and that will always be a part of us. I truly can’t thank you all enough for the support, the feedback, and the patience you have shown us.
