To mark the 20th anniversary of our #PinkPony campaign, we invited a cast of global luminaries to share wisdom they learned during their cancer journeys. Their stories of hope, strength, and love continue to inspire us.
“Hope is knowing that being diagnosed does not mean that your life is over. There's still life to live, there are still things for you to fight for,” said Ericka Hart (@IHartEricka), a Black, queer, femme writer, breast cancer survivor, highly-acclaimed speaker, and award-winning sexuality educator.
While in conversation, Dr. Maya Rockeymoore Cummings (@MayaRCummings), author, speaker, and social entrepreneur with a mission to drive society toward inclusion, speaks to the importance of love in the fight against cancer. “Love is a never-ending chain. One that you receive and one that you give all the time.”
