The Sai River viewed from Kyōgakura
(Ikusaka Village)

Kyōgakura is a rocky mountain in the village of Ikusaka. 

It has excellent views of the Sai River below and the Northern Alps and Mt. Asama in the distance.

It was a battlefield during the Warring States Period, and some say that the hiking trail here may have been an important strategic route from that time.

Let your mind wander through time as you trek through nature.

*When entering the mountains, bring appropriate gear and leave yourself plenty of time to reach your destination.

眼下には犀川を臨み
遠くには北アルプスの連山や浅間山も
見えるほど高展望です✨
