I’ve moved around before, but this time it was different and tougher to adjust, especially coming from sunny Florida. . Initially, swimming and lifting were a coping mechanism used to distract myself when I was feeling down. I decided to seek out professional help to guide me through the transition period, which was super fulfilling. Earlier this year I ended my time at therapy. I’ve learned to seek out fun new experiences rather than focusing on the negatives.
