I have many close friends and family who have spent time at @SickKidsVS children's hospital in Toronto. This hospital generates more bravery in young children than I have ever seen. To honour these acts of bravery, #SickKidsVS implemented a Bravery Beads program back in 2002. With every step along a child's healthcare journey, whether it’s a scan, blood test, surgery, or an overnight stay at the hospital, patients at SickKids earn a Bravery Bead. 🙏🏻 Now, more than one million patients have earned more than one million beads! To celebrate this milestone, a Monument to the Brave is being built using actual beads earned by patients, and the work of art will be displayed in the new SickKids. This is where I need your help. We are calling on patients past and present who have earned Bravery Beads to donate their beads to be part of the monument (see link in bio, or tag them below).
