I took baby P to a new vet a couple weeks ago because his normal vet couldn’t get him in and I just felt like something was off. I kept an appointment with his usual vet though just because my gut said to. The new vet didn’t think anything was wrong, I insisted and he suggested I might be paranoid because of what happened to Butters. Ok fair, but my heart said “I know my baby and SOMETHING is off.” . . So he put P on some antibiotics . . Flash forward to last week, P had just started to become congested and was coughing. Luckily we had that appointment with his normal vet on Saturday. Peanut has bronchitis ☹️ BUT his lungs are clear and he does not have pneumonia because I trusted my instincts. The initial antibiotics were not the right ones to treat bronchitis fully, but they suppressed it enough that P did not develop pneumonia or become critical. These new antibiotics will heal him right up and our little man will be just fine. . .
