Karen ordered her first dress from me (a bias Bordeaux colored Swiss dots lil number) in the Fall of 1996, after my fist summer internship with Nicole Miller. I will never forget the experience, especially working with the late legendary #KevinKrier who taught me how to produce a fashion show, and importantly how to book a model (he was brash, dramatic, quick, and very direct)... the first model I learned how to fight for was was Karen-I must have been 16. This snap was from a few years later for a Canadian news paper shoot we shot on New Year’s Day 2000! Karen has had an incredible journey and career (I know it’s not over by a long shot!)
