In 1969, Dominique Mandonnaud came up with a revolutionary sales concept: an assisted self-service experience which quickly spread itself all around the world and later on became what we call today Sephora.

Today the Maison is known worldwide for its black and white stripes, but why did they become the iconic representation of this cathedral of Beauty?
