It felt like the stars had aligned in my favor because we had worked on that album for about a year and a half, and I think a lot of people were really in a bad place in April. I mean, people are still in a bad place, but I think March / April was when a lot of people—their lives were, just to put it frankly, they were fucked up—and I think my album actually did give some people a sense of...
