R. Lee Ermey. Incredible. Got lucky enough to work with Lee on “Prefontaine”. Story from work: On the way to work, we were talking about finding dinner that night cuz room service every night is pricey. Lee told me his secret, and ya gotta imagine it in his awesome voice, “What I do is, I go to Mac-Donalds (he made it into two very cool words) and get myself seven burgers to go. Then I take em and throw ‘em in that mini fridge I got in my room. So every night when I get home from work, (he flashes a big smile) I got me Mac-Donald’s all week.” Dunno why but I just loved how he explained it. Plus whenever the “crowds” would get tired or bored of watching @ジャレッド・レト and I run around a track in our 70s mustaches, Lee would grab the mic and go into the Full Metal speeches. The crowd would wake right the hell up. So would every woodland creature for miles. He was just such a bad ass. Also in Toy Story plus one of the best lines/happy accidents in Se7en, “This is not even my desk.” #StoryFromWork *Prefontaine took place in Eugene, Oregon, hence the tag*
