A young couple commissioned
@the_atelier_sun to design a residence in East York Toronto as a calm sanctuary to escape when their work is done. The Torrens House is a detached home spanning 960 square feet with an open floor plan that’s visually defined by a series of wooden screens. From the front door, the foyer has a screen that creates a passageway that both connects and separates the interior with the outside.
