Video by @bertiegregory / A male gray wolf catches our scent on the west coast of the Hudson Bay, in Canada. On this morning we had been following a pack of wolves for a few hours, but ended up losing them in the deep snow and thick willows. As our small team chatted about our next move, we spotted this male following the exact same path of the pack, with his nose to the floor. Whether he was a member of the pack or an outsider trailing them, we'll never know. These wolves don’t often see people and live in an area where wolves aren’t persecuted. As a result, they are bold and curious. After realizing we weren’t particularly interesting, he trotted off.
