Water is believed to be an element of purification, and “melukat” cleanses the mind, body and soul of impurities and releases negative energy. We walked through a sacred confluence where two rivers meet —“campuhan”— to a holy waterfall dubbed as the bathing place of the angels and the powerful stream washes the negative forces away, clears our mind and focus our senses.
