Ugh this is heartbreaking for me to write but our wonderful French Bulldog ‘Cash’ passed away this weekend. Cash was so much more than just a dog to me; he was our boy, I used to joke that he was our first child(!) It’s impossible to sum up what an extraordinary companion Cash was in just a few words but I know everyone who met him was overwhelmed by his positivity, light and playfulness. In his 9 years I don’t think I ever felt like Cash had a bad mood. He was always a bright light to come home to, a fierce protector of his home and family and with a stamina to play and run that was only exceeded by his huge loving heart. The house is definitely feeling his absence; the little tick-tick of his paws on the floor, his barking at the door and the clinking of his collar against his food bowl when he ate. Thank-you Cash for being so much more than just a Pet. You were and will always be part of our family. A loyal and trusted friend always ready to give out hugs, kisses and warmth wherever he went. We miss you so much it hurts but we know it’s only because you gave us such incredible companionship. Your light was so bright and you were a part of every family mile stone we have experienced over this last decade. Cash was diagnosed with hermangiosarcoma and the last few months had seen a steady decline in his health. I know you are released and at peace from being sick now my love and enjoying Doggie heaven surrounded by your favorite treats and stuffie toys and that’s what gives us strength in this difficult time. You were just the most magnificent right hand buddy and we thank you from the bottom of our aching hearts for giving us so many years of love, happiness and joy. I will miss you everyday but we are all so grateful we got to have you be part of our family. Rest In Peace my little Prince. You are beloved and treasured in our hearts.
