Meet #PINKRep Cenie from @PINKSFSU! “I am super passionate about Bullying Prevention Month. My sister had a really hard time standing up to her bullies throughout elementary and middle school. I feel that the best way to support someone who is being bullied is to remind them that THEY ARE NOT ALONE!! As an older sister I struggled to not be around in school, to be there to defend my sister. But when she came home, I made sure that she knew that I was here for her and that she was SO loved. I feel like it’s so easy to get trapped in the idea you are alone in this scary world, and that’s not true. Even if someone who is hurting doesn’t want to talk about it, it is important to just be there, even if you’re just with them, or simply listening to music with them! Also, I feel like journaling has helped me so much! It is something that I look forward to every night. I feel like journaling gives me an outlet to reflect on my day while also relieving my stress. It reminds me that I am only human, and it makes me focus on all the positive productive things I did in the day rather than just focusing on the negative.
