I’m grateful for my right & privilege to vote. White Women gained the right in 1920, but Women of color had to wait until the Voting Rights Act of 1965 to cast their ballot. There are currently 32 million eligible Latino voters, but during the 2016 election, less than half exercised their right to vote. Latina turnout rates are 14-20% lower than non-Hispanic black or white women. If you decided not to vote, why?

We have the power to make a difference in this election as we are now the largest minority group! We can change the system to look more like us with our involvement.
