RIASIMさんのインスタグラム動画 - (RIASIMInstagram)「Rain or shine it’s always pretty seeing the trees at the Met. If you’ve been to Paris you may notice the similarities of how the hedge are cut. I read that the trees are designed to mimic the trees at the Palais Royal in Paris. As well as when they designed the plaza that they focused on embracing the ideas of French landscaping techniques and horticultural practices. The design of the paving, fountains, lighting and trees create a beautiful space leading to The Met Museum’s entrances. The plaza is located on the southern part of the museum. ✨ When I illustrate, I often don’t know what layers I’ll add until I finish the background. What I mean by “layers” is the little pieces I plan to animate. I knew I wanted a figure to give a little perspective and enhance the trees. I thought a figure with an umbrellas would be cute but didn’t want something bold blocking the view. So I remembered as a child I had a see through umbrella ☂ and thought it’ll be fun to create one. I was challenged on how to make it at first and finally figured it out. The umbrella, in my opinion is the cherry 🍒 on top of the cake!
