The show, which was broadcast last night on @ITV, celebrates the winners and nominees as well as honouring figures who have made significant contributions to the industry. 🎭 HRH joined Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber in presenting the Award and delivered a speech congratulating Don Black and voiced her support for those working in theatre. The Duchess said: “I should like to thank those of you whose profession is in the theatre for your determination and your flexibility. Please remain resilient – we need you and we have missed you.” During the recording of the Awards at the London Palladium, The Duchess also visited ‘The Hall of Fame’ where she learnt of the Theatre Artists’ Fund from Co-Founders, Sir Sam Mendes and Julian Bird and met three recipients of the fund.
