GINZA SIX館内を散策しながらアートに出会う「GINZA SIX ART RAMBLING」。

今回ご紹介するメルボルンを拠点とするBeci ORPIN（ベッキー オービン）は、イラストを軸に、デザインやクラフトなどの分野で幅広く活躍するオーストラリア出身のアーティスト。DIYの書籍と絵本なども数多く出版しており、女性や子ども、ときに植物をテーマにした色彩豊かな世界観が特徴的です。

今回の展示では4Fの「中村藤吉本店」のエントランス手前に《Happy Seat》、同じく4Fの北側トイレに至る通路に《Together Apart》、6Fの「TEPPANYAKI 10 GINZA」付近に《Sign of Happiness》の3作品が登場。ストレートなメッセージを感じるハッピーなアートをお見逃しなく！

To finish our series on featured artists, we would like to introduce you to Beci Orpin, an illustrator, designer, and maker from Melbourne, Australia. Her work is characterized by her colorful aesthetic and themes related to women, children, and sometimes plants. She’s released a number of books full of D.I.Y. craft ideas, as well as children’s picture books.

She has three works on display at GINZA SIX that are sure to have you grinning from ear to ear: “Happy Seat” by the entrance of Nakamura Tokichi Honten on the 4th floor, “Together Apart” along the hallway to the restrooms on the north side of the 4th floor, and “Sign of Happiness” by TEPPANYAKI 10 GINZA on the 6th floor.
